The interior design concepts are based on the idea of Skype as a useful yet playful tool that connects the world: bright colors and soft furniture, modeled on Skype's cloud-shaped logo; pointed, triangular shapes, which symbolize the nodes connected within a network.
In 2011 PS Arkitektur (Skype’s interior design concepts) won first prize for "Outstanding Design of the Year" at the Modern Decoration International Media Award in Hong Kong, silver in the contest Sweden's coolest office, and the nomination for the best office design in Leaf Awards in London and Inside Festival in Barcelona.
