Design: Outofstock 2016
After many meetings and conversations between Blå Station's Johan Lindau and the designers from Outofstock, the first product of the collaboration was an armchair. An armchair which embodies their interpretation of the values with which we imbue our products. Åhus is a comfortable, compact armchair with a balance between modern and timeless. It is compatible with both contemporary and classical environments. Åhus has no excess or unnecessary elements, but at the same time is an armchair with character.
By integrating a functional side table, it presents an asymmetrical feel. Blå Station is celebrating its 30th birthday this year, and Åhus can be seen as a homage to our brand in product form.
Material: Frame in wood. Upholstered in moulded CMHR polyurethane foam. Upholstered in fabric or leather. Chassis in black-painted steel. Plastic feet. Table top in oiled oak or Carrera marble.
