Mono is a small coffee table/side table in spun metal with a reversible glass tabletop foiled on both sides so that you can easily change the look of the table. There is room for storage inside the table underneath the glass top.
Metal-spinning techniques are commonly used for manufacturing lampshades, but they do have limitations with regard to the weight of the material to be processed. With Mono tables, however, we have extended the boundaries of what it is now possible to produce in this way.
Mia Cullin’s inspiration for Mono was the form and function of various everyday receptacles such as vases, dishes, bowls, cylinders and pots.
